Who says family values are declining?

Ranbir Kapoor discovers joy in sharing the Bollywood limelight with his parents It is an age- old norm for parents to promote their sons and daughters and the Indian politics and film industry both bear testimony to this continuing family cult. But here is Ranbir Kapoor, paving the way for his parents' roles in his upcoming film Besharam.

When director Abhinav Kashyap was looking to cast some actors to play a police officer in Besharam, Ranbir Kapoor suggested his father's name. this led to the inclusion of even Neetu in the film. `I am excited to have all three of them in my film, `says Kashyap. It is for the first time that the Kapoor trio - Ranbir and his parents Rishi and Neetu - have come together for in a film.

Ranbir, who lives with his parents in Pali Hill in Mumbai, has always felt pride in speaking about his parents, admiring the about the way they have brought him up and helped him in his film career.

It is learnt that Rishi and Neetu Kapoor are very protective about their son. So, when pictures of Ranbir and Katrina Kaif getting cosy during their sojourn in Spain, sharing intimate moments at a beach, were splashed all over the media world, the parents were a miffed lot.

Chill, Rishi and Neetu! Your son has so far made all the right moves in his career, giving even the likes of Salman, Shahrukh and Akshay Kumar, a tough fight in popularity ratings. Above all, he is an affectionate son who shares camaraderie with his parents.
