Is Salman Khan warring with T Series for Jai Ho’s music rights?

The Dabangg Khan seems to be making history with this move of his…
The music royalty battle is at it’s peak and till sometime back, Salman Khan was no where close to it. But apparently, all that will change with the release of Jai Ho. TheBodyguard actor has allegedly held on to the music rights of Jai Ho and has not allowed T-Series to benefit from the music.
In the recent, past T-Series has had a spat about the music royalties with musicians like Sonu Nigam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sunidhi Chauhan and so on, but not this time. A little birdie tells us that the Ready actor, in an unprecedented move, has worked out a deal with the music company and has managed to retain the music rights of his film for himself. The rights for the music are habitually held on to by the music company, but for Jai Ho the earnings won’t be raked in by T-series and would go to Sallu bhai’s pockets instead.
T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar has although denied the news, and maintains that he owns the rights for the music. He went on to say that the production house always gives the rights to the music company, but this time Sohail Khan gave it to his eldest brother. But the Being Human brand ambassador, being the nice guy he is, gave the rights to T-series. Thus, nothing has changed according to Bhushan.
We are a bit confused and don’t know whom to believe. But if Salman has really held on to Jai Ho‘s music rights, it would be a first in the music industry. Also, it might help the warring singers win the battle against the music labels for the royalty issue. Way to go Salman, Jai Ho!!
